A long time ago I used the site and assumed it was a Christian site.
Was shocked and disgusted when a few years ago I looked up the Gumby show just out of curiosity to see if they had covered it and what they'd say (as I feel it had one of the most perfect nuclear family portrayals) and saw that one of the categories, don't remember which, and what it was called was like a one out of 5 Star and said "offensive stereotypes of "native Americans" and other cultures yadda yadda yadda".
It didn't get 1 Star. Positive messages got drug down to 3 stars because of the explanation you can read there.
2.5-3 stars should be like The Matrix territory, Lion witch and the wardrobe being 5 Star territory and the saw franchise at zero stars.
That should moreso be the scale of what positive messages can be gleamed from a media and to have one of the most wholesome (in the actual sense, not the Reddit sense) shows ever made be brought to 3 stars in "positive messages" because of your pansy modern sensibilities is a crime.
SECOND EDIT:
Didn't realize archive links couldn't let you expand sections. Here's what it says
"Some episodes also feature period racism -- a series of episodes concerning "Indians" has the Native Americans using arrows and smoke signals to communicate, and speaking in pidgin English: "Helicopter come, take children away...children no like Indians." Period sexism too: female characters are often only supportive to male ones rather than having their own adventures."
But the first Saw movies were, as a plot main point, that he fucked with people who were sinners, criminals, and ne'er-do-wells. "Be a good and productive member of society, or the Saw clown will F you up" can't be a zero-star story about positive messages, right?

A woman in a kids tv show is a good wife?
Yikes that's awfully inappropriate for children, dont you think??
