First thing you should do when setting up a new phone is turn off AMBER Alerts.
There's even a built-in alarm to remind you to do it. It's called the AMBER Alert.
Regardless of their accuracy, they always seemed like the most dystopian thing imaginable.
I like them on for in case I could help, but on a cheap phone I got recently, I'd gotten 51 on my day off on the phone. All the same kid too, Several counties away.
