To be fair, if the implication is he's a pedo, the girl he and his fellow New American were accused of raping was sixteen. There's no evidence he's into playground-age children...there's no evidence he's a pedo, just your average run of the mill rapist.
It is odd he was there but I haven't seen it mentioned if he had a child there himself. Why is a Somali alleged rapist hanging out potentially alone at a playground? That's certainly odd.
May I suggest a pattern of escalation, it's very common for sexual predators to start out groping on public transport etcetera and graduating to rape eventually. The same could apply to a pedophile coming to terms with what he is truly attracted to.
