She actually hated it lmao she's crying during this scene.
What actually makes it bad is that she gaslights herself into believing its a good thing to good raped by a savage warlord and turned into his sex sausage, and cries over him when he dies later.
This is presented as a good thing.

In the books she's willing.
Willing, but not eager. Since it's not exactly something she has much choice in. She was assured that it was going to happen anyway, unless she killed herself or something.
What she does is use the opportunity to take control of the situation instead of being a passive and helpless victim (after getting advice from someone, I forget who).
It's a very... fucky scenario, with a rather gray resolution. I keep going back and forth over whether or not to find it cringe or not. Like, actual victims in extreme scenarios have to make all kinds of psychological hurdles just to deal with the trauma they've experienced.
So in that regard, the resolution here is interesting. But then you just know that there's a fucky fetishization of the scenario itself by some people.
