All of these guys spend 100% of their time crying about muslims, while they themselves are either gay, jewish, or leftists calling themselves “classical liberals” (or a combination there-of)
Juden Peterstein, Sam (Benjamin) Harris, Douglas “Raging homosexual” Murray, Dave “Raging homosexual” (Rubin), etc etc
Though Rogan has a jewish wife and a half jewish/half black step-daughter, long history with Alex Jones, etc, so he’s not exactly beyond question either. I haven’t enjoyed listening to him since like… idk pre-2016
Though Rogan has a jewish wife and a half jewish/half black step-daughter,
Wow, he is literally the "my wife's child" meme come true. I was unaware about that, but that explains why he's always defending Liberalism -- he's essentially a cuck pretending to be masculine.
I’m sure he’s plenty masculine, my point is just there is a clear limit to his “conservativism”imposed by his life choices and associations - and realistically, he never was some bastion of conservatism - he was an actor, a relatively normal one, who got pushed to the right by the relative insanity of the left, e.g. the people around him in Hollywood
I thought this was an interesting breakdown of the Joe Rogan/Dave Smith/Douglas Murray drama.
It's an excellent point that all these people "rebelling" against Rogan are generally "ex" leftist atheists. Probably got way too high smelling their own farts, and think they should be the only ones with opinions.
These people are all insufferable. Especially James Lindsay. What a shitbag he turned out to be.
The Douglas Murray stuff is funny to me. It looks so much like Murray being a petty bitch that Rogan invited someone else to his private time with Rogan.
That shit blew my mind. I'd seen clips before I'd watched the whole thing, so I had no clue how it started.
Dougy came out of the gate swinging...at the host and moderator. With disingenuous woke lefty tactics, general bitchitude, and cancel culture Disinformation™ censorship garbage.
With how he started things, it's amazing the later clips weren't more heated, and it also speaks to Rogan's chill character that he wasn't even more annoyed. Props to Rogan and Dave for being respectful; that could have turned even messier.
The other shocking part was, the great Intellectual™ Douglas Murray hardly brough a single argument.
Murray came across as such an elitist prick. And the media championing Murray attacking Rogan is just as laughable. The media was attacking Murray due to his pushback against the Covid narrative. Everyone but Rogan comes across as nothing but ideologues holding grudges
Anyone who says Murray crushed Rogan/Dave...is not to be trusted.
People who generally talk about things in this vein, who are silent on this...are better than the shills, but can not be trusted to provide accurate information across the board, as they are at best too business savvy to stick their neck out, and at worst too cowardly and compromised.
To be clear, I'm not saying everyone has to talk about this. Just that there are some people where the absence of talking about this is clearly suspect, since they'd be talking about it if the topic was anything else.
I agree anyone covering this is only covering it to attack Rogan. And the media attacking Rogan thinks he is a far right ideologue, despite his fairly liberal stances. Rogan's crime to them is he doesn't automatically hate people who disagree with him.
Murray came out swinging to frame the argument not about Israel but about Joe Rogan Experience not having pro-Israel experts on.
He won.
"You need more experts on Joe. You're not an expert, Dave" "Never said I was an expert, Murray" "See that's the problem, Joe" "Well Murray what's your expert opinion?" "I'm not an expert either" "You don't have to be an expert to see pictures of devastation" "But being there is better than pictures and you've never been there. I have" "How do you justify this devastation then?" "I'm not qualified to say because I'm not an expert".
Anybody that even tried to get to the end, or did, left saying "god damn, I wish Joe would have some experts on".
Douglas Murray was the sacrificial lamb, the intellectual suicide bomber to get Joe to platform Jewish propagandists in the future. This was to manipulate Joe into either not talking a position (because he's not an expert) or get propagandists on there he's not qualified or prepared to refute.
Almost all of the comments are about this issue of experts:
"Dude is an expert in recognising experts." - noticing that Murray wasn't an expert.
"Douglas spent a lot of time saying Cooper needs to be debunked, but he didn’t spend any time debunking him." - Lamenting that nobody presented the pro-Israel case.
"Listening to this guy talk in circles is making my hangover return. And yes, I am an expert on hangovers." Accepting the premise of experts credibility.
Tons of comments along this similar vein. Do you see ANY top comments about what Israel has done in Palestine? Not even a mention of Palestine being carpet bombed.
Murray did not come there to debate Israel/Palestine, he came there to trash JRE for not being a credible forum and he accomplished that - by making a mockery of the episode.
"The tie that binds...I know you'll be surprised by this, shocked even, is that it is those that have unyielding allegiance to Israel, versus basically everyone who doesn't."
“Kosher Conservatives” as the kids say these days

The whole event was just mind boggling.
Murray came across as such an elitist prick. And the media championing Murray attacking Rogan is just as laughable. The media was attacking Murray due to his pushback against the Covid narrative. Everyone but Rogan comes across as nothing but ideologues holding grudges
It's a great litmus test, though.

I'm surprised Rogan didn't suplex Murray the second he started lecturing him on who he was "allowed" to have on his show.

Bro read the comments... 98% of the viewers dismissed Murray
Bro read my comment.
"Douglas Murray was the sacrificial lamb, the intellectual suicide bomber"
In other words, Murray blew up his credibility in service of Israel.
You said people left wishing Joe would have more experts on. Almost nobody left saying that. Murray was a suicide bomber, but he barely made a dent.

Haven't heard of this guy and he sounds reasonable and intelligent. Will try to remember to check him out in future.
He's a libertarian, which isn't to everyone's taste, but I think he's got his head on straight on many things.
