The Right did drive voters to the Left on a couple of occasions, but it's typically not normal since the actual conservative right hasn't had real institutional power in the US since Warren G. Harding was president.
A lot of people were driven to the Left when the right Neo-Conservative War Adventurism. To be clear, the Republican Party was framed as the pro-war party in the 2000's, but really hadn't been 'pro-war' since the Progressive Era under Theodore Roosevelt. Although establishment Democrats had started countless wars and military incursions, they basically ignored their own history and just repeated that they were anti-war because of Vietnam. Truth is, in Vietnam, they weren't anti-War; they were just pro-NVA and pro-Viet-Minh because they supported Socialism and Communism.
Evangelism of the 2000's also didn't help because their religious authoritarianism was always fundamentally ignorant. Yes, they were right about transgenderism getting worse. They were not right about video games making kids school shooters. They were not right that Abstinence Only education works. They were not right that Pokemon was literally demonic. They were not right to claim that the Televangelists and Church were legitimate moral arbiters. The Evangelical movement didn't just fail, it destroyed itself with hypocrisy and lies that most of the people in the movement couldn't tolerate. The remnants of those political institutions are explicitly anti-MAGA, anti-Trump, and anti-Populist. Although statistics suggest that more Americans are becoming more religious and spiritual, their church attendance and trust in the church as an institution keeps falling. It should be obvious why when the Catholic church is lead by a dedicated Liberation Theologist Communist in Rome, and is institutionally split in the US; while the Protestant churches are flying Progress Flags while worshiping George Floydd as a saint; while the Black Baptist churches pushing for Kamala Harris; while White Evangelical churches refuse to endorse Trump.
Most of the other times that the right is alleged to have 'pushed people Left' is usually just propaganda from the Left to cover-up genuine right-wing blowbacks against Leftist aggression. They call them "Red Scares".
Republican politicians are swamp beings just like Democrats. The republican party is endlessly lambasted and ridiculed because most of it's support are white people. Whites must be destroyed, and now we can see our political representation has been destroyed and turned into some sort of rainbow coalition of based non whites.
Worse, White political representation absolutely exists, and it's why Trump has reached his absolute limit among white supporters. Some 40% of Whites actively support the Democratic Party and everything that's been happening. Worse, some of the most White and Anglo states in the Union are explicitly Leftist like Massachusettes, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, and Connecticut.
Nationally, whites are the majority voters of the republican party, far more than any other demographic. Those states having substantial dem support from whites is still a minority opinion, nationally.
Yes, but it doesn't change the fact that there are whites being represented. Typically of the Blue Haired Tranny variety, the Hamas supporters, and the cuckolds.
Abstinence Only Education certainly works when you don't have a bunch of faggots pushing children to have sex nor a bunch of feminists pushing the sexual revolution

Also worth pointing out that the 2000s pro-war stance was entirely because of the retarded fuckup that was Iraq. America was hugely united over rooting out the Taliban from Afghanistan.
That always shocked me. "Why are we in Afghanistan?"
"What, you don't remember 8 years ago?!!"
We were at war with the Taliban because of Al-Qaeda. Depending on how the Taliban rule the country, it will be interesting to see if the very early discussions of "Could we have gotten some component of the Taliban to give us Al-Qaeda?" may finally get a real answer.
Barring that hypothetical it always grinds my gears when people say the US "lost" to the Taliban. Not really, the US just never bothered to win. The combined non-nuclear firepower of the United States Armed Forces would've been sufficient to track down and kill every single Afghan in only a few years.
Instead we spent all our time passing out hugs and building those inbred savages infrastructure they can never maintain and a 'democracy' they (correctly) recognize is retarded.
It's not much different from "losing" Vietnam, where even though we had a 10:1 kill ratio, we still 'lost' because of clownworld retard shit like "those aircraft that just bombed us are flying over the border to Cambodia, you have to let them go". Operation Linebacker II showed what could've happened if the US decided to actually stop the NVA, just turn Hanoi into a pile of rubble filled with the twisted remains of gooks.
For a little refresher, fucking Lyndon Johnson agreed to stop bombing North Vietnam as early as 1968 and wouldn't commit to fuck-all because 'muh diplomacy muh peace negotiations'. It wasn't until 1972 with Linebacker I that they resumed strikes. Holy fuck it's amazing how genuinely trash American political leadership has been.

That doesn't address anything I said.

It literally never worked because 16 year olds wanted to have sex, and the church had already lost the culture war for their own kids.

Trash? They've done their jobs perfectly: Wasting White lives, time and money.
