The core audience of The Sims games is obsessive Tumblr weirdos. If there was ever a genre where it made sense to include this stuff from a business standpoint, this is the only one.
Sure, but EA is already catering to the obsessive Tumblr weirdos' every whim. It's not like there's an untapped market of pedophiles to pander to. I do think there's a demand for a Sims type game that isn't full of this crap. The audience for The Sims series was never what I would call based but it wasn't always this degenerate. EA deliberately cultivated that type of audience.
Some of the worst things come from the 'Tumblr offshoots'.
The Sims player base being one of them. The war crimes I commit in my games PALE in comparison to the evil that Sims players commit...
With all the government gibbs being cut off so less financial incentive nevermind a US administration EXPLICITLY saying there are only men and women, the only ones that are pandering now are those too weak to stand up for themselves from the littlest of pushes or true believers of this shit.
Since games are now not even feature complete on release, you can't buy anything from anyone you don't actually trust because they can troon out on a dime.
They may also ban mods since the devs already said they hate the idea of violent and sex mods. Sims can be interesting because there is so much supernatural and other wacky stuff. I think people will get bored way more quickly unless the systems are extremely deep.
Haha, that's not why they want to make mods impossible to make. The don't want to have to compete with amateurs doing it for free when selling their inevitable DLC cosmetic slop.
You can bet your ass they'll totally do this, they're asian devs, the idea of someone modding their game is already outrageous, using ot to create sex mods? Totally unforgivable.
It's a sandbox environment - let them fill it with everything. That's the point.
It's the forcing it onto people who don't want Alf Stewart's Rape Dungeon as the tutorial level that we're against.
No, the point is to NOT be The Sims, which is a sandbox of degeneracy at this point.
What's the point of an alternative if it's literally just going to be EXACTLY like the game it's rivaling?
Advertising almost worked on me after the Steam reviews about the company taking feedback and removing Denuvo, but I did the research like you have to for any game now and saw they added non-binary as a character option so it's a permanent no.
It seems like this is an appeasement and nothing more. And while I'd prefer they made the game they want to make, it's an optional choice in the character creator that you don't have to do.
And again, I'd rather they make the game that they wanted to make, and not the one they felt pressured to do, it is at least optional and avoidable if you really wanted to play the game.
i don't care if its "optional" i don't want that shit there.
Well, it's there. Such as the state of things are. So you have two choices.
If you absolutely have to play the game, make sure the gayness box goes unchecked, or simply don't play it.
As much as I'd like to see how the game is, adding that for me is an instant no as well.
That's how it started with The Sims. And look where we are now? Surgical scars.
Kingdom Come 3 will introduce the tranny character, and everyone will defend it because "muh options".
It sickens me how weak people are that everything must cater to the Left. The Zeitgeist for liberal progressivism has truly won -- you can't even have alternative games to mainstream woke-slop; even the alternatives must cave to the degenerates.
Why do people do this? Honestly. This is getting really annoying. This website has an issue with taking things out of context for the purposes of arguing a point I didn't make.
I also absolutely hate this shit in games. It was on the list of games I wanted to try, now I'm never buying it. I am against this shit in games too. In all it's forms.
What you are taking out of context is everything else that supports the same things I said, that you just said, but in different words.
Honestly I don't know why you'd admit to that, but okay. Out of context theater presents: how this dude comes.
I took nothing out of context. Re-read your own comment.
How do you THINK this all got started?
And this is EXACTLY what people were saying back in 2014.
They do not take inches, they take miles. It starts with appeasement, it escalates.
There is no middle ground.
There is no stopping.
It's already lost.
I also said this too:
Well, it's there. Such as the state of things are. So you have two choices.
If you absolutely have to play the game, make sure the gayness box goes unchecked, or simply don't play it.
As much as I'd like to see how the game is, adding that for me is an instant no as well.
