3 guys have an idea for a new product/service. They personally finance the idea, nearly go broke until word gets out. Then they are the creators of a whole new industry. They even talk in business terms a few times in the movie. Government regulators are even a minor villain in it.
I also just realized that short circuit 1 could be interpreted as a Christian movie about the soul. Heh.

One of the few sequels that was better than the original. Don't get me wrong, Short Circuit 1 was a good movie, but SC2 was just great.
I don't know if I can pick between them, personally. they're both good in different ways.
certainly, it's a sequel at least as good as the original, which is almost as rare.
