I’m all for having the freedom to eat unhealthy on your own dime but when you are receiving a check from someone else they can put whatever restrictions on the money that that want. I remember years back when I was unemployed I stayed with my brother and his wife until I got a job and could get my own place. He was big on health and fitness and didn’t charge me much for rent but he required I worked out 4 days a week minimum. I thought it was weird to ask that but I had no choice
Or give Smith enough disincentive to live with his bro rent-free forever. It's easy to fall into the unemployment rut of weed and video games if you never leave the house. Just look at COVID.
I got a temp to hire job shortly after moving in but needed to save up enough to get my own apt. At the time I would’ve loved to have played video games all day but my brother wouldn’t have allowed it
I like that story. On the one hand, I think it's a tad pushy...but in a pretty dang wholesome and caring way. And, like you said, his place, his rules.
We need more of that personal responsibility attitude.
He is. At the time I was annoyed as I was working out but even then I had to accept I was at his house and if u didn’t like it I needed to save my money and get my own place

He knew the lifestyle hack: no one works out 3+ times a week and remains an unemployed piece of shit lol
Generalizing, of course ;)

That would make sense though

He who pays the piper calls the tune.
And your brother sounds like a good guy.

Sure he didn't just want someone to work out with?
Maybe but he was serious about me working out
Based brother
