Elijah Schaffer took a picture in Nancy Pelosi's office on Jan 6th. He was never charged or prosecuted. (twitter.com)

Anyone have a reasonable explanation for this that doesn't involve a federal limited hangout operation?

For the record, that's not what a limited hangout is. A limited hangout is more when you sacrifice a part to protect the whole, so in this scenario a limited hangout fed would be Agent Schaffer being convicted and going to jail. Unless I'm misunderstanding your point.

I don't know if that's the definition

According to Victor Marchetti, a former special assistant to the Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), a limited hangout is "spy jargon for a favorite and frequently used gimmick of the clandestine professionals. When their veil of secrecy is shredded and they can no longer rely on a phony cover story to misinform the public, they resort to admitting—sometimes even volunteering—some of the truth while still managing to withhold the key and damaging facts in the case. The public, however, is usually so intrigued by the new information that it never thinks to pursue the matter further."[1][2] While used by the CIA and other intelligence organizations, the tactic has become popularized in the corporate and political spheres.[3]

i.e. letting some of the truth out, but not all of it.

"A limited hangout is more when you sacrifice a part to protect the whole." I think we're talking about more or less the same thing.

And I'm not trying to be argumentative, I just don't quite understand what you're saying. In your scenario, what is the limited hangout, what partial truth is being told? Do you just mean they went after the nonfeds, and left feds (Ray Epps...allegedly, of course!) and suspected feds alone? Yeah, I can see that.

The scenario that I'm considering is that Schaffer was coopted to discuss J-power in right wing discourse, gaining credibility, while deflecting the heat off other ops like Ashley St. Claire.

Elijah and his newest soldier Sarah Stock are also Nick Fuentes boosters. Not a good sign.

Ah, alright.

Yeah, Schaffer is definitely very off. Whether that's due inherent instability or being wrapped up some fed stuff, I don't know. But there's certainly something weird about him. I don't follow him, but he got really weird after his blowup with Blaze.

I don't remember the full story, but I know he was harassed and investigated for, I think, years.

I think his defense was that he was a journalist, doing journalist stuff. He was working for The Blaze at the time.

Everyone can choose if they think that makes sense or not, but I think that was the official story. I've said before a ton of these influencers are fake and gay, so it's hard to tell who's a schmuck, who's a fed, and such.

Personally, I'm willing to believe he's not a fed...not because he's great, but because he's kind of insane sometimes. I think he's been through some real shit, including federal investigations. On the flipside, of course...there are plenty of insane feds or suspected feds, so that doesn't rule anything out.

Is is it possible that feds declined to arrest a right wing provocateur because he worked for the Blaze?

edit: another Blaze reporter was arrested for J6 trespassing, 4 misdemeanors, but in early 2024

But CHARGED in 2021.

Same reporter asserts this:

40% of the 80-100 other media who entered the Capitol that day also had no credentials. NONE. They were podcasters, bloggers, and social media influencers. You don’t know that because, A) your wanton ignorance, and B) because they weren’t charged.

Even the “credentialed” journalists were breaking the law by entering a restricted space without law enforcement permission.

And I did no “rioting.” You are ignorant and a liar.

Yeah and he actually calls it a revolution and refers to his fellow revolutionaries, so I'm not buying the explanation that he wasn't arrested because he was a journalist.

Edit: Sounds like fed shit to me and they told him to use the term "revolution"

Another part of Schaffer's backstory in general, not necessarily related to J6, that I find ill-defined was his disappearance abroad to Australia for a prolonged period of time between his firing from The Blaze for allegedly groping Sara Gonzales and Nick Fuentes' canceled AFPAC IV in Detroit last year.

I don't know his wife's background. Perhaps she is an Aussie and they simply moved back home to lay low after the allegations of the occupational sexual harassment and rumors of him stepping out on his wife in other ways.

With Australia being part of the Five Eyes, it's not like he would've been out of reach.

But he vaguely posted for a long time that he was living in Australia (somewhat ironically, given the original fallout from his other You are Here podcast with Sydney Watson, also an Aussie who moved back home after her Blaze lawsuit).

Then one day, he announced he and his family were returning to the US homeland. I recall it was around the time of Fuentes' AFPAC IV because Schaffer was a VIP guest.

Schaffer announced on Twitter that he wouldn't be able to make it due to travel and moving difficulties right before Nick announced that his venue pulled out, always making me sus that Elijah was tipped off beforehand and never had any intention of physically attending.

Hmm, pretty weird. Especially after Lauren Southern's well-known clashes with Australian immigration in 2018 over right wing views.

I can't imagine why they would allow a participant in J6 into the country regardless of whether he's a reporter, like Lauren.

Looks like his return was in June 2024.

Can't find the related tweets on his X account though about AFPAC and not making it.

I’ve always been very suspicious of Schaffer. He talks like a homosexual, and his over the top faux masculinity is exactly how fags act when they’re trying to be manly, because they don’t actually know how to act straight. And I think his marriage is part of his act. And his explanation that he was raised by a single mother doesn’t actually explain his behavior.

If he’s a fed, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Supposedly, Shaffer was hitting on underage Groper Boys at one of the AFPACs.

The photograph didn't catch anything sensitive, like Pelosi's stock purchase data and her deviantart account.
