For the record, that's not what a limited hangout is. A limited hangout is more when you sacrifice a part to protect the whole, so in this scenario a limited hangout fed would be Agent Schaffer being convicted and going to jail. Unless I'm misunderstanding your point.
According to Victor Marchetti, a former special assistant to the Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), a limited hangout is "spy jargon for a favorite and frequently used gimmick of the clandestine professionals. When their veil of secrecy is shredded and they can no longer rely on a phony cover story to misinform the public, they resort to admitting—sometimes even volunteering—some of the truth while still managing to withhold the key and damaging facts in the case. The public, however, is usually so intrigued by the new information that it never thinks to pursue the matter further."[1][2] While used by the CIA and other intelligence organizations, the tactic has become popularized in the corporate and political spheres.[3]
i.e. letting some of the truth out, but not all of it.

"A limited hangout is more when you sacrifice a part to protect the whole." I think we're talking about more or less the same thing.
And I'm not trying to be argumentative, I just don't quite understand what you're saying. In your scenario, what is the limited hangout, what partial truth is being told? Do you just mean they went after the nonfeds, and left feds (Ray Epps...allegedly, of course!) and suspected feds alone? Yeah, I can see that.
The scenario that I'm considering is that Schaffer was coopted to discuss J-power in right wing discourse, gaining credibility, while deflecting the heat off other ops like Ashley St. Claire.
Elijah and his newest soldier Sarah Stock are also Nick Fuentes boosters. Not a good sign.
Yeah, Schaffer is definitely very off. Whether that's due inherent instability or being wrapped up some fed stuff, I don't know. But there's certainly something weird about him. I don't follow him, but he got really weird after his blowup with Blaze.

Ah, alright.
