Am I the only one cynically thinking all the screeching about Epstein might be a red herring? People are acting like he was running the op and she was his friend/assistant when to me it looks to be the complete opposite with her facilitating connections around the world while he was just a manager who met the customers and partook in his own product, and was always intended to be the fall guy if it was exposed.
It would be stupid but I can imagine a govt official in the future saying "Yes we released all the Epstein files. No, the declassification didn't include all Maxwell files, that was never promised. She is no longer under investigation. That was in the past and her boss the actual ringleader is dead. Let it go." We might be getting close to a statement like that actually because I've seen comments from Trump supporters asking "What are you expecting them to do anyway? Epstein is dead and they aren't gonna show us child porn."
Good point, I've often wondered why Maxwell's records were never even mentioned. She'd have tons of data, she ran a lot of the show.
I'm guessing the courts sealed all the evidence in her case?
It was explicitly in her case that the judge declared the evidence be sealed for national security reasons and also to protect the delicate sensibilities of the public.
