The main problem with what Kendrick did is that I can't understand him. I cannot understand the words coming out of his mouth.
Obviously this was supposed to be some deconstruction of America with Samuel L. Jackson in the Uncle Sam hat and the black supremacist thing (likely conceived for a Harris presidency), but it's impossible for me to have a reaction. Even when I can make out what the dude is spluttering I don't get the references.
Apparently nobody else in the stadium did either because all the crowd shots are people standing around confused.
Kendrick isn't a mumble rapper. He's considered a lyricist, he won a pulitzer prize.
He was handed a Pulitzer prize, when no one even knew that rappers could win 'Pulitzer' prizes. Sounded like a virtue signaling participation trophy from left-progressive white Americans to everyone else.
Well yeah, but my point stands he isn't a mumble rapper. He is considered to be one of the best rappers because of his lyrics. Which makes his performance even worse. He shouldn't have been that unintelligible

He didn't call him a mumble rapper. He said he mumbled during this live performance.
9/10 rappers sound like shit live for this very reason. It ends up sounding like mumbling.
