Sadly not with Kingdom Come 2. They were being mega sneaky with this one and I honestly think they will adopt this approach..
BG3 and KCD2 are basically the new poster children for being woke while dividing the core audience. They're the new gateway archetypes for getting normies to accept wokeness in all its forms: faggotry, niggertry, cukdoldry, the works.
Now that they have a pattern of success, expect more studios to adopt this method after the next slate of slop fails (i.e., the upcoming Naughty Dog and Xbox games filled with overt wokeness).

Exactly. It's successful propaganda and I see a lot of people supporting it.
The woke virus has evolved. Pure wokeness cannot survive as real talent is pushed away for DEI points and you get disasters like Dustborn or female Ghostbisters. It's like a very aggressive virus killing the host too soon.
So the best is the SBI model. Slither into an existing successful system and layer woke on top of the nearly finished product like dropping a turd in the punchbowl. It's why a lot of great shows have an amazing first season then go woke as shit when renewed.
Last of Us 2 was a well designed game in terms of mechanics, set pieces, etc. which mostly was utilizing the first games systems with some improvements. But the wokeness was hamfisted in the story and characters (take a most likely male character and slap a female head on it, add lesbian romance, etc)
They've been sneaky woke for decades. Across shows, movies and games. Last generation it was mostly the grrlboss feminist trope funpolicing a male-lead franchise, but she at least had to be hot for it to work. Now if we only get the grrlboss trope it's almost a relief, which is part of the formula. Two steps forward, one step back is not a win.
That'll work once, maybe twice per franchise/studio.
Make one great game, follow it up with shit, and people will give up on the series.
It won't matter. Gamers are experts at pattern recognition. They will see through it and stop buying their shit. That's a scam that will quickly lose its effectiveness.

This is the only real voice and vote we have today. Memes are fine, but they survive on our money.
Starve them! Tell your friends not to buy their crap. Mock anyone who does.
