I'd honestly not have women in most of them at all. Especially not heavy fanservice type in the majority. Of course I'll pick the hot ones over the ugly ones if I must have a woman, but otherwise I'd like there to be plenty options like Gears of War where its just men being men without them.
I'm all for pushing back against the Woke in every way, but I don't want that to end up with Stellar Blade being every single game either. Its a fine game on its own, but we don't need gaming to became the Chinese/Korean gacha market where that's everything available.
I get where you're coming from but this isn't a hill you want to commit to. There have been women as part of the medium forever and banishing them entirely is an over correction. You end up eliminating entire swaths of potential tales and experiences to explore. Far better to just return to sanity. Every game being as devoid of women as Gears of War is the exact situation we're currently lamenting, just look at those images on the left.
Jews have been the majority of writers and producers of media since their inception. I feel like people here wouldn't argue in favor of making sure to leave them their space as is tradition.

We have minimal similar to Gears in the current market. Saying this out loud shows you have completely misunderstood my point on a complete level.
Gears (the original trilogy) is a game about machismo manly men being fucking men. There isn't mocking subversion, there isn't a message about gender politics, its tough dudes doing something they couldn't do if women were around. They show their emotions when appropriate and its heavy without fear of judgement. They banter. There is a ridiculous cowboy character who treats his tank as a wife and calls the headlights her titties.
Normally, ideas like "adding a woman to a group completely changes the dynamic even if they don't mean to" is a well understood principle. But I guess when it might get in the way of Gooning and Coomers well now we need diversity and to "explore potential tales and experiences" (I hope you see the irony in using the literal line Wokies use to justify the thing you are pushing against).

I don't disagree but I also don't advocate for turning everything into Stellar Blade, that would be every bit as retarded as demanding that everything become Gears of War. I think there's room in the medium enough for both to exist and serve their respective audiences. Enforced homogenization of content is not a desirable outcome.
You seem to be fixated on women being solely an addition of pornography while completely missing my point that it's pretty fucking difficult for Mario to go rescue the princess if you ban princesses from even existing within the medium.

Heck the entire Witcher 4 controversy shows that a pretty normal looking woman has people screaming that she is the most ugly thing in existence that must be fixed, because they truly do want Stellar Blade level characters in everything.
It also undermines the much more retarded Woke decisions regarding W4, like her doing the Trial in the first place and all the lore trampled for that. But that's another issue.
Titillation is literally 3/4 images in this meme. To a point where its clearly the goal because they didn't even line it up with their list which only lists it twice. The 4th image (which I cannot make out what it is, something Samurai), likely just exists to pretend that isn't the case.

Heck, I left a gaping hole in my Gears argument because Anya is a major character in the first two games, but her presence is kept to Mission Control which allows her to be useful when she is needed and not there otherwise. Because a woman should never be in a combat position, logically and rationally, and it removes most of the negatives her presence would cause keeping her in that role. Adding her to the Frontlines in the 3rd game is one of the reasons why the story fell apart by focusing hard on relationships and sex with Fenix.

Nah, I just hate women. Been a literal misogynist my whole life, and I don't toss aside my beliefs when it benefits me. And so I threw out an offhand opinion that I didn't put a lot of effort into thinking about.
But the longer I am engaged in defending it, the more I feel secure in it now. Because clearly the only argument against it is "well its okay when we do it."

It was something I was discussing with him a few days ago after the topic came up again in a few separate videos that have been regularly popping up on YouTube. I think there's a channel, AndyPantsGaming or something like that, where he has been lamenting the lack of manly games.
Almost ALL the top comments in that discussion were about Gears of War (especially the first two). And they all mirrored my own thoughts, and the thoughts Adam shared here: we no longer have ANY manly games just for men.
Even Helldivers 2 tries to make sure it's "inclusive", and it avoids any kind of proper storytelling so they can avoid characterisations.
But sadly I just can'\t think of any polished, newer generation, blockbuster games that are just outright unapologetically masculine? I'm not saying this to start anything -- if you actually have suggestions I'm all for it. But it's also why I had to reinstall Gears of War 2.
I've been burning through my back catalogue rather quickly, and have found myself regularly re-circling games like Mad Max, Gears of War, and occasionally I will try to boot up Ghost Recon Wildlands until I remember how much I hate that stupid Tier 1 mode (and unfortunately, there is no further progression outside of that mode).
Games like Vlaidk Brutal are cool and all, but Rus-jank shooters require a mindset to deal with constant jank. High-quality, properly masculine games just do not seem to exist anymore. Even a lot of the boomer shooters -- outside of the Forgive Me Father series -- seem to star female leads.
I honestly can't remember a game with a woman in it earlier than Donkey Kong or one with a playable woman earlier than Metroid.
Didn't you know? The pilot of the plane in River Raid was a brave trans woman.
