South East Asian, the Japanese really picked up on that. there's a male Japanese variety TV host who gets lightly teased all the time for looking like Thai despite being full Japanese his entire ancestry.
there was another korean tv show where there was a korean/vietnamese couple which was a vietnamese woman that looked like a korean and a korean man that looked like a vietnamese and they had a problem with koreans assuming that the vietnamese women can speak korean whilst Koreans thinking the korean guy was a foreigner whilst in Vietnam people assumed the korean guy was local and the vietnamese woman was a foreigner.
. And the korean tv show where they were talking about that was laughing at that and saying they should swap nationalities. Asians do notice the difference between themselves and other Asians even if non Asians don't
Which goes to show that ethnicity and phenotype are far more complex topics than many people believe. You can categorize all larger ethnic groups into many smaller groups. The further you go back in time the easier it gets to determine just by looks which part of a country a person comes from. Nowadays these differences aren't as distinct anymore (at least in developed nations where people can and will freely travel around) but you can still see them.
Asians overall design very attractive characters that represent their own people. But of course white liberals berate the asian devs and tell asians thay they are wrong.
Funnily enough they usually design very attractive characters to represent Europeans as well. In fact they even give African characters a pretty fair shake, the few that exist (I'm thinking of Barret from FF7 remake, or Drebin from MGSIV). I think they have the very reasonable opinion that characters in media should generally be attractive and aspirational unless they are villains or deliberately supposed to be ugly.
Here's Black Widow ( a red haired White woman) according to a Western studio and Black Widow according to a South Korean studio https://files.catbox.moe/wfqmlc.jpg
Yeah. The japanese and koreans also seem to depict european history and culture in mostly a positive light.. while the entire west treats all things european as bad, most recent with kingdom come deliverance 2.
Leftist likes to use the term white adjacent to describe asians. They are right. Asians make 98% of the characters in games, shows and movies light skin because asians and whites are pretty much interchangeable. Asian skin color is not much different than white skin color. And asians do like white features for the face. Pointy face is more feminine.
She may be a little older looking than the character design they were going for but she's still attractive and Japanese so I don't know why they didn't just use her as the model.
She almost looks hispanic in comparison

Even among Europeans you can tell if someone is French or Germanic or Greek.

She's a light skinned fat, black, woman.
Ubisoft believes that all women are just fat black women of varying shapes & colors.

Once you see the trannification, you can’t unsee it.
That much man-jaw on a female character should be illegal. Holy shit.
There's a number of historical characters in Rise of the Ronin that look better than their real world counterparts
Which is the complete opposite to how Western games make characters based on real world models who look better than the character in the game

White devs do it with white characters too. But really it's just a leftism thing. They want everyone to be depicted as ugly because THEY are ugly.
Japanese vs generic mystery meat asian.
Since you put the voice actress's name there I had to take a look.

If she was ugly and fat you know they'll do it in a heartbeat lmao.
PC port of RoTR coming soon and I hope the port is good.
Though their decision to go with appropriate voice actors by nationality does sound a bit strange at first I kind of dig it
