There isn't. It's because of cultural and linguistic differences. Your mother tongue has a tendency to influence the way you speak foreign languages. The differences between European countries and especially the US and Europe are significant.
This doesn't account for all of the native English speakers who do it.
Yep. I’ve heard British ppl and woke Americans do it, too
Depends on which native speakers. For Americans it is quite unusual, yes. But for the rest I don't know.
