I'd say Super Mario Brothers 3. Which is hypocritical on my part because it's my favorite NES game as well
Punch Out! isn't Rocket Knight Adventures. So... no.

I used to play Super Punchout on an emulator.
But couldn't get passed the old guy with the stick IIRC before the final conference.
