Casually throwing this in the middle to remind us that they don't care about the problem until it effects them or starts having major consequences on their own life.
Whoever this guy is part of the reason why things ever get so bad. Because they want special exceptions for their "fun party drugs" and then us to turn around and be extra super serious about the problem with their "Current Buzzword Drugs."
As if crack cocaine didn't do almost everything he is speaking about for decades before fent hit the scene, but he just casually tosses it off with "who really cares" to moralize about how Fent is the real evil because its "chemical."
Fuck this guy, fuck fent, and fuck everyone involved with either.
Yup, he's part of the group that accepts the slippery slope until he's actually in the ditch.
Not just accepting it, that little slip of the tongue is him admitting to happily pushing us down it until it offended his personal line.
Because in that single sentence he lets us know that he not only thinks most drugs aren't a big deal and shouldn't be illegal, but probably consumed enough of them to feel familiar with them. Even though they were in fact illegal and he contributed to the same black market industry he spends this whole creed whining about.
Yeah, the guy wrote a wall of text to moralfag that some dealer only served 1-2 years in a provincial jail for trafficking muh fentanyl.
That doesn't really seem that out of proportion on either side of the border for a first time, non-violent offense.
Nick Rekieta gave cocaine to his own 8 y/o daughter in Minnesota and isn't going to serve a day in jail with his plea.
I mean, death to drug dealers. But the laws, legal precedent & proportionality don't change because Trump riled this guy up that fent is suddenly the devil.
Idk depending on substance, you could get 10 years or more for a heavy amount.

The wall of text comes off more as a guy jealous of his cousin's house though that wasn't seized by civil forfeiture rather than some relevant anecdote about the fentanyl wars.
