Ubisoft Closes a 'Star Wars: Outlaws' Studio, Lays Off 185 Employees as Company's Financial Troubles Deepen Ahead of 'Assassin's...
Ubisoft has closed the Star Wars: Outlaws studio and laid off 185 employees as the company struggles ahead of Assassin's Creed: Shadows.
Add that it was the UK studio shut down so added French hurting UK economy and this is before AC Shadows flops..
Man so Ubisoft looking like it'll be the first major video game studio to fall.
Previews for Shadows have been bad. Even the positive previews show footage full of wonky animations and damage spongey enemies.
Asmongold’s reaction to Yongyea’s preview hit over 1.2 million views on YouTube and that’s an upload from his Twitch livestream.
Yongyea is still around? Yikes.
It'll be a while before Ubisoft falls IMHO. AC is a massive franchise. A lot of normies will eat the slop. Even if it massively underperforms it'll generate at least enough money to keep them afloat for a bit longer.
...am i crazy, or is this article one of the most neutral news pieces any of us has seen in years?
thatparkplace is run by conservatives. It's a spin off from wdw pro, who loves to drop hints in his videos that he is based. So it isn't surprising that it is neutral. Conservatives do their jobs rather than using them to push propaganda.
To think they used to just cover amusement parks, hence the name.
Until someone finally had enough.
yeah, but I've seen conservative sites like town hall and the gateway pundit editorialize a fair bit as well, so the fact this mainly sticks to the facts is still refreshing.
These are rookie numbers.
I hope they are all stocked up on Nix treats to kill the time between application forms being filled out.
There must be some mistake- that game had a woman of color as the main character. Surely it sold 20 billion copies its first day?
Yes, die! Faster!
