Something I've noticed is Trump selects a few questionable to bad choices in terms to America first in positions like this but for the big ones he picks guys who WILL be good for the US.
Like I wouldn't want RFK Jr on economic or gun policy but for health and food which he's being put for can't think of anyone better. Same with Border Czar, National security, FBI, Defence etc, so how is this guy on AI?
Then he'll get fired quickly, unlike Biden, Trump fires ALL the time when you don't produce results.
I just hope they try to develop AI in the Midwest, I want AI developed in a culture that promotes community not the current anti-human culture of California.
Elon Musk wants to drastically cut down on illegal immigration but wants to draw in foreign talent. The problem is of course that the H1B program is just one more way for companies to undercut domestic workers and lower wages.
Mass H1Bs is mass pajeets - they then multiply and metastasise exponentially, via nepotism. The likes of Musk love the cheap labour. Everyone else suffers diminished wages and your country's demographics will be forever changed. Trump needs to stop this.

I thought AI was supposed to be some galaxy-brain stuff. H1Bs come in to do the most boneheaded tech tasks. Everyone knows what you're going to get.
