Mel Gibson, the traditionalist Catholic actor/director, told the crowd, “I got nine kids. If one of them got stolen or trafficked, I’d have to kill someone.”
Can I have a list of everyone who objects to this statement.
I feel like if we raid their properties we'll solve a lot of missing children cases..
The film is PG13 so nobody who gets shot or injured shows any blood which goes a long way to give that impression. Also because Neeson's character has the skills to do it covertly (at times) and precisely. Finally it is fiction.
They should make a movie, where Mel Gibson plays Mel Gibson, and hunts down pedos and journalists (but I repeat myself.) Imagine the immediate seething.
A movie might be tough. You'd have to find a whole cast and crew that would be willing to work with Mel Gibson, finance the thing, etc. Would you settle for a documentary?

My mom used to say something like this all the time. I think good parents often think about how far they will go for their children.
if my dad is anything to go by, the movie Taken is a tame portrayal of what they would be willing to do.

note that I said willing.
Able is another story.
I'm not even a parent, but ever since my nieces and nephews were born, I started having those thoughts.
One example is we'd be on a ferry, and I just knew if they fell overboard I would have dived into that icy black water to try and save them.
That quote coming from him... and knowing how he is.... I would actually believe he would go Taken/Edge of Darkness on the traffickers.
Or, you know, he would become Riggs.
Or the father from Ransom....
....or worst (best?) case scenario.... Mad Mel.
If you were a Daily Beast writer, you'd also be upset if someone hated child traffickers.
why are they still on his case for antisemitism

Because extra awareness and policing could cut into the writer's stash
Oh man, that entire article is just a butthurt screed. You love to see it!
