The pardon, which is "Full and Unconditional," is expected to cover both the gun conviction and the guilty plea, and covers offenses "which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in" over a nearly 11-year period from Jan. 1, 2014 through Dec. 1, 2024.

Are we supposed to interpret that as Hunter being pre-pardoned for any further crimes he may have committed during that time for which he does not yet have a conviction? Insanity.

That's exactly what the pardon says. He's absolved of anything (federal) he did - already convicted of, or as of yet not accused of - during the 11 year period starting in 2014, and running through 2024.

It would seem that they are using this to close off the Burisma stuff, or any of the other influence peddling he was involved in.
