Part of that problem lies with the social power that comes with being heralds, some people just want to be the one that others look to for guidance and advice.
The fact said role could then be financed just made the corruption all the easier to push.
Yeah, we should expect a lot scandal around obviously AI images and videos soon. It was called during the 2020 election that the right would use it, so I expect the left to use it like a druggie on a pile of cocaine.
Or during Covid when they kept using that 'Italian hospital emergency room' photo for different things.
CNN has that great clip where the 'journo' pretends to sniff a found backpack and claim 'Smells, stingy." declaring it was proof of sarin gas attacks from Assad.
The icing on the cake is that when they get caught, they actually defend it. "It's not about the accuracy of the footage; it's about the message we're trying to communicate." Or even "it would look something like that."
Those "journos" have no business being anywhere near a news desk.
They all have that post modern / sophist indoctrination, that it's ok to do an evil to reach a desired outcome. Always "Ok, it's happening (you caught us), but here's why it's a good thing." mentality.
Oddly enough there was gas attacks in Syria that we can identify, but there is a question about who launched them, and although the media claimed it was clearly Assad, it definitely wasn't the Syrian Army or Air Force, but was allegedly one of their proxy groups, but it could as well have been one of the insurgent groups.
I just thought it was beyond the pail hilarious, that to identify a poison gas, you would hold an alleged contaminated sample to your face and inhale. On a live CNN broadcast. It was all so clear it was to manufacture consent for more war funding, but so retardly enacted.
"winning" is carrying a hell of a lot of weight at that moment.
it took quite some time for the Syrian Army to start properly winning.
I'm not saying he did or he didn't, I don't really know, I'm just glad he worked with Russia to destroy his weapon stockpile so that it couldn't a) be used, or b) be taken and used by someone else.
Besides. Small amounts of chemical weapons have been used in wars when it looks like no one is looking, and there is a particularly hard defensive nut to crack.
Was going to mention this. The above image is claimed to be a stock image that was already two different photos. They just picked the measles one, supposedly lmao. I love how they make this stuff sound half way believable.
But what was the excuse with the trying to convince the scene with the italian emergency rooms with old people and covid was actually in new york.
It really drives me up the wall too especially with measles. Measles is one of those things that could be eradicated, because there is no known animal reservoir, it is strickly a human disease. (I believe). But its not "cost effective" to do so. Mother fucker gabe newell could single handedly end measles if he really wanted to.
Most of the time you hear of these outbreaks it usually invovles someone from another country, usually who is vaccinated but picked up a new strain which seems to be dodging the old vaccines.
Then they usually spread it by sending their kid who is under five to daycare with other toddlers who arent technically old enough for all 3 shots of the mmr.
And then the media will say, people need to vaccinate, and the comments will be a circle jerk of ignorance declaring their superiority over the dumb anti vaxxers.
Gets me every time. Doesnt feel like a theory to me when Ive seen it happen over and over.
That is one of the messed up parts of our modern day. Then I remember that it used to be that only the government or upper class could lie, and they got away with it. Now they can't because we can lie and see through theirs.
"If I've lost Cronkite, I've lost the war" shows how horrifically centralized the power of media was, and how dangerous it had become. People mistakenly see it as the power of good journalism, but it's really a lamentation that even LBJ lost control of the media, because it had made it's own agenda, and had become more powerful than the state.
Now these same intrepid journalists tell conservatives to send their children to die in foreign wars, then sell pictures of their dead kids back to them, and laugh at them on Twitter for being stupid, inbred, war-mongering, racist, retards who deserve to watch their kids die and be replaced... for being dumb enough to believe them.
Then they screech that they're losing power over those very same people.
It's not so much that government control over the media has been lost (it hasn't been, it's just been weakened). It's that we can hear the journalists talking when the cameras aren't on, and they are some of the most evil, demonic, caricatures of humans that the world has ever seen.
That's sort of the war going on. The journalists today are fighting to stay relevant and this in power. If Twitter ect replaces them, the entire industry falls apart.
After seeing what our official experts are capable of lying about, we should wonder what's been lied about by their forebears. It's possible that the indirect-correlation-equals-causation-evidence is not a model of obscuring causation of diseases to monetize bogus preventatives, but we need transparency and hard evidence to know for sure.
We can never hate 'journalists' enough in the current era..
They've always been like that. They're bigger whores than actors.

It's not just AI. Sometimes, like this, they just use fake videos.
Remember the time when ABC news attempted to goad Americans into war and slander Trump for causing Turkish soldiers to massacre civilians in Syria... by cropping and editing footage from the Knob Creek 2016 Machine Gun Shoot
Yes, I downloaded that video and uploaded it to BitChute because I want a permanent record that I can access of what they did.

Well, he probably immunized himself after smelling his own farts for so long.
why would assad, who was winning the war, do the one thing that would guarantee intervention against him?

Twitter already replaced that, that's why they are addicted to it.
And trying to either take it down or be big on it.

NBC picked one of 2 stock photos, both links in this article. This does not mean they don’t lie and manipulate daily. https://debunkingdenialism.com/2019/05/14/nbc-did-not-fake-image-of-baby-with-measles/
