I corrected in edit but to be honest not much needed changing.

I have such a low opinion of the cultures in that region that this isn't unbelievable to me.

Meh I do think there's a difference. I definitely like Iran more than the other countries in the middle east by virtue of it being one of those that is fighting the international bankers
