Whenever I see footage from that game I'm in awe how absolutely ugly they managed to make that horned chick. It's actually impressive how ugly she is IMHO.
I can't believe what they did to the Qunari race as a whole, and I didn't even play 2 or Inquisition. The old Qunari intensity could be seen in their muscular bodies, their tough skin almost looking scaly, now they just look like a bunch of smooth-skin faggots with horns and extremely bad fashion.
Not just in how they're modeled, but how they live and their patterns of speech. They used to be, well, stern. Now they behave like modern humans. All fantasy races behave like modern humans now.
Holy shit. I opened it up and thought that those grey skinned guys didn't look too bad. The one right at the opening looks a little like prince charming from Shrek. Then I turned on the sound and it turns out they're supposed to be women!
I've been playing the Atelier Ryza series for the first time and it's so refreshing. Plot is as deep as a puddle but the characters and atmosphere and vibes are so laid back and positive. It really feels like building a hideout in the woods with your friends, plus combat and crafting. No preaching beyond the usual anime "power of friendship" stuff. Tongue in cheek humor, earnest characters, great music and a sexy-cute protagonist with thick thighs for days and a magnetic personality. Adjustable difficulty for death-seeking and post-work decompression days alike, approachable and intuitive crafting, and a deep but easy to learn battle system. Summer feel-good vibes all around.
The only criticism I can throw its way is that crafting leads to a bit of yak shaving sometimes, but I'll take that any day over the ze/zi/zo/zum drivel vomited up by Modern Devs.

I had no idea it was a chick until this video, I never saw xir speak
Devil’s bargain: trump wins or Veilguard becomes the new default format of rpgs storytelling
Who ate the last cheesey bread-wands?
In one scene a character literally says "they go hard". It's so cringe

Why are you trying to make us the 41%?!!
And yet he admits he's just as likely to play the game whether it has this heinous dialogue or not.
Pretty sure a poll worker would bring me back from the dead so I could continue to hear millions of terrible election takes.
I don't think he would bring you back from the dead, because then you wouldn't be voting Harris.
