I know nothing of this company, but the product looks neat and the graciousness of that PR response is enough for me to look into them further.
Edit: They have very few products, and the Hardcover version of that Ebook seems to be the crux of their entire lineup. But it looks like a really nostalgic shelf piece that I'd enjoy having over this Free Ebook version. All the best to them, I might get it once I get next month's budget.
wow, it's 1.2GB. I suppose that'll be some decent quality.
Edit: It looks like high quality scans of actual maps and posters that came with the games. And where they couldn't use those, they used screenshots and pics from magazines of the time.
I like maps but the magazines pages with articles are even more entertaining for me. I used to watch youtube channels where the hosts would open old EGMs or Nintendo Powers and go through the pages on camera.

Time to fire up the SNES blows on cartridge
I used to work in a second hand store and many "dead" cartridge systems just needed a sacrificial sports game and some contact cleaner combined with the ole in and out.
Check for rattling in case of foreign objects being inserted, and then clean with window cleaner.
200€ in like 3 mins of work.
I guess those cartridge cleaner things are bogus?
I just checked a cleaning kit on amazon and it's literally just a blank cartridge with included contact cleaner for $30, it's literally the same thing as using a free sports game plus contact cleaner from the hardware store.
It will also work on any cartridge system, if a game is bad you can just use some qtips and contact cleaner or use a dead console as the friction cleaner.
The NES too.
And you had to put it in in such a way that a tiny bit of the plastic shell sticking out so it clicks when you push it down.
God, I wish I knew back then that all you had to do to kill that nonsense was cut one specific pin on the board for the lockout chip...
I'll be looking at this during the hurricane. Thanks.
Stay safe, man.
Between my mirrored copies of RPGClassics and VG Atlas, I feel like I have all the maps I need.
A physical book sounds cool, at least.
Mmmmmm do I bother putting a fake adress. Yes.
The zip code has to exist in the state selected, the rest can be filled with garbage.
If like me you're crying in tiny SSD with the 1.3GB file size, the unzipped is actually 3 versions of the same book, and the most compact one is 300mb. Keep one version.
P.S. : In before Nintendo goes apeshit for finding a 25-30 years old map they have copyrights on.
Pick any random ZIP code from a state and fill the rest with random letters, it works.
Not very exclusive
