Based on what little I can find about this, and the grooming tendency of trannies, I really don't doubt the situation was nasty. There's not a ton to go on though.
Where I'm conflicted is the implication that adult men should never under any circumstance have contact with teenage boys or it's obviously pedophilia. I'm not sure that's a good thing based on my own personal experience. It was good that I had some men other than my dad around when I was that age, and I've been on the older side of it too with friends' kids, family, etc.
“ I reckon that 65 per cent of the men who took me to raise couldn’t be admitted to a club, a church, or a tea party. I reckon that most were unread, most were profane, most broke laws, most didn’t work, most drank too much, and most had dirty fingernails. And I reckon if we filled the schools with them as instructors today, and gave them jobs as cops, and set them up as tutors and baby sitters and camp counselors, we wouldn’t have so much of a problem of delinquency.”
Most of the best teachers I had were men. Also after the Dr Disrespect thing I kind of cringe at any "HE WAS TEXTING MINORS" headline. Though in this case he met the kid in person and is clearly a groomer so...
I can't think of maybe more than a couple female teachers in my post-elementary education that I'd consider positive. I remember almost all of the male ones. Easily my top 5 teachers of all time, all men.
I just hate that's the narrative they are running with, "why would he want to talk to a 13 year old boy?" It can only lead to isolating those boys even more into a feminist walled garden. I'd be missing on some long-term actual real friendships that grew from being 50% mentor/50% friend to teenagers. Without any sexual stuff obviously, albeit if you spend much time around a teenage boy their dirty mind will occasionally surface.
It instead needs to be the danger of having sex-crazed groomer trannies around kids.
One of the big problems already happening with the current anti-trans/gay movement is that people are literally ready to scream pedo at every little thing in existence.
Its valid a lot of times, especially when those groups are involved, but its reached the point where somehow everyone who watches Vtubers is a pedo, or anyone whose ever made a joke that was made 14 times a second on /b/ back in the day.
And like any good moral panic, any defense of it is met with "why would you defend this filth, you must also be one."
Is this not a normal problem with behavior of people that you can only really direct them as mobs and as such nuance is completely lost, which would not be a problem if people could think for themself thus be available to ascertain if the issue is valid or not, not sure how we ever is going to get to that point thus is this not merely the cost of doing business?
If the cost of business is destroying dozens of innocent lives for every one saved then your business isn't about protecting anyone, its just about power and violence.
Your comment actually shows the exact issue perfectly. Not a single iota of a mention about the children being protected or how to better do it, as this topic is meant to be about. Just as much justification as possible to attack as many people as possible and handwave away any crossfire as necessary sacrifices.
I suspect one of the main problems is the absolute lack of involvement of a parent in a lot of these situations. A few occasional conversations with a parent present might be enough to scare off some groomers.
Unfortunately, a good adult mentor and role model is sometimes exactly what a kid could use when parents are frequently unavailable and/or unreliable.
Yeah. I'm also a little wary of the these headlines until the content of the messages comes out because I remember my teenage years on things like IRC and no one knew how old anyone else was.
Whenever someone says "texted a minor," I wonder if it's grooming or a direct message like "ops are on the warpath tonight. watch out," or just shit said in a channel with hundreds of people because it's still technically texting. Given the context of this one, there's less benefit of the doubt because pattern recognition exists, but I trust Internet rumor mongers only slightly more than the mainstream media.

Even ignoring his personal history of fetishizing his son the gays have a long history of grooming and molesting young boys

So the exterminatus plan is off the table then?
