The initial scare data didn't account for many tornados in the past being in rural areas and nobody knew they happened.
Once that was corrected for it turned out there weren't any more tornados now than in the past.
Nobody here seems to have watched the first movie. It's just a movie about scientists chasing tornadoes.
The first movie was fucking amazing.
I hope this one is half as good.
I have. It's a great '90s movie: a vague premise to hang action scenes and a little human drama on. It doesn't try to say much. The tornadoes just are. I don't have much hope for the sequel, I doubt they'll be able to imitate the feel of the first one.
Most movies from the 90s are still very watchable and enjoyable.
If a tornado blows, and no one is there to ride it, does it make a sound?
It certainly doesn't growl. (If you're unaware they added animal noises on top of the tornadoes in Twister.)
