Nah this was probably some schizo. If they really wanted him dead he'd be dead.
Fidel Castro died of natural causes. Saddam had to be physically captured. They never got Assange OR Snowden.
The Feds actually kinda suck at assassinations.
This is a really important point to hammer home.
Yes, the feds are legitimately terrifying to have as an enemy, and if you ever end up being seen as a serious threat by them, never become overconfident or complacent.
BUT, also don't think of them as being like literal supervillains with supernatural powers and plot armor. Yes, they're extremely dangerous, but they're not invincible. And tbf, because they know that Americans by and large no longer acknowledge their moral legitimacy, the best they can do to manufacture consent at this point is to convince the public that they're omnipotent and omniscient.
We are also 8 years into TDS.
The chance of a random Leftie being psychotic enough to shoot him far and away outweights the Feds sending someone. By a lot.
Why not both? Feds can always whisper into a leftoid's ear about a sniper rifle hidden in an unlocked book depository.
agreed, though it's not like the feds didn't try to egg it on. several leftist politicians have been spouting rhetoric about putting Trump in a bullseye and similar statements. meanwhile, apparently secret service was asking for more resources and was denied by the DHS. someone away from the rally even saw the shooter setting up and alerted secret service, which did not act on the tip at the time.
JFK? MLK?
Even if you believe the feds were involved in both of those, they aren't the only people that the feds have attempted to get. It seems like they have a 60% success rate.
Yeah. I lean towards an ANTIFA troon who was off the deep end and bungled the job.
Supposedly it was four hundred feet and change with a scoped rifle. This suggests a completely amateur shooter. Because to me that shot is cake.
100% points to someone who doesn't know firearms. If you're gonna be using a .22, you have to compensate for the wind. That guy missed his shot and panic-shot the rest as the Secret Service rearranged his ugly underbite-ridden jaw.
Someone who is a gun bro, I was reading he was using a modified AR-15 platform to allow for .22 bullets to be used?
I'm not going to pretend that I'm any firearms expert, but he's standing at a podium, not going to be making any sudden, wild movements that you would have to consider. Seems like an easy job for someone with some experience.
Way i understood it, Trump rotated his head right before and that's what made the shot miss.
People have been saying that but I'm not sure the movement was sharp enough to have been the difference between life and death. Depends on the angle but it was a very slight movement. I understand it was half an inch from significant injury and an inch or so from lights out but it depends on the angle.
Edit: Upon seeing where the shot came from it does seem like the head turn probably made the difference. Crazy shit.
