Sony are run by ideological retards.
If I was in charge of all the assests they have, I could EASILY be making money hand over fist by doing next to NOTHING than deliberately antagonising the customers like this.
iirc Nintendo was responding to a question
this question was omitted in English reports about this, but the question was about what Nintendo could do to help protect children after a cosplayer sent sexual messages to children
It has nothing to do with good faith fans making fan art of Nintendo characters.
It's one area the West seemed to actually have it right in terms of fair use. I've watched a lot of abridged parodies so KNOW how litigious they get with their property.
This however is going TOO retarded as going to a literal fan convention to do this is just attracting people to despise you more, wouldn't be surprised if there is a huge spike in piracy this year compared to last year.
Why support a company that won't support its customer base?
Essentially, I need to look into merch on offer by the studios MAKING the Anime and artists making the Manga as I want to support them directly but shipping costs can be a bitch.
