Housing.
Large numbers of houses in Barcelona have been bought and converted into AirBnBs. Housing prices are making residents angry.
So they protest against paying tourists but not against welfare migrants who take up way more housing AND get it all paid for by the people who protest?
Anti white racism is one hell of a drug. Even self hatred.
Rent affects them directly. They don't care about the rest.

well yeah. the migrants do all they can to make the place unpleasant for tourists, of course the anti tourist locals support them.
While the hypocrisy and all that political jazz is relevant, there is a growing problem with AirBnBs and their effects across the entire Western world.
Like, its rapidly growing out of control and is massively furthering the "you will never own a house because corporations/elites bought them all." Except now its not to rent them to you for rent level prices, but for "vacation rental" level prices.
But its racist for one side to point it out and the other is too busy virtue signalling about immigrants to score upvotes to acknowledge it.
The program my mortgage people use literally has an entire section devoted to "here is the average AirBnB for a house that size in the area and how long doing so will it take to pay your loan off." Would cut over 20 years off my mortgage.
Problem is, a lot of the reason why landlords need more money and less red tape is because the government is constantly jacking up the cost of everything (sewer, water, property taxes) and then increasing the legal protections squatters have.
So its a problem that the government is exacerbating into a catastrophe that even decent moral people trying their best cannot deal with without succumbing to the cancer.
It's more than that. Anyone who can rent a home is inherently the Petty Bourgeoise.
The protesters would love nothing more than to rape their children and set them on fire for making an AirBnB. They hate them more than anyone on Earth. Even Orwell felt that the Petty Bourgeoise should be killed. In Animal Farm, this is represented by a mare that likes having a bow in her hair. Everyone hates her and considers her to be scum, and that the farm is better off without her because she's a traitor. They want the Petty Bourgouise (Kulaks) to have their homes taken from them, and their families raped & killed.
These bunch then want to turn those homes into state owned buildings to put "refugees" in.

Most people will be able to afford a house in their life time, the problem is that the age where it is possible is getting older, specifically for lower class and lower-middle class issue.
Older people who have saved longer, and middle-class people have a 2nd property that they will try to rent out because their mechanism for building wealth is inherently unsafe. You can only work so long in the corporate latter and get so much income, so the rest of your asset wealth has to be built through another means. Since pensions are frauds, and investments are sketchy at best right now, and starting a business is excruciating at best; then owning land is the most assured way of increasing your wealth over time.
Everyone should do it. It's a good idea. Your refusal to save money, your need to be resentful of others, your love for theft, and your hunger to be a corporate wage slave is not a justifiable reason to declare that someone else doesn't "deserve" that wealth. They have a right to defend their property from you, because they actually earned it, unlike what you're looking to do.
But they are cool with refugees?
