The left has managed to make it so that in order to be culturally superior you must hate your culture, your people and your ancestors.\
They also managed to convince leftists that this is unique to them and all other nations loving their culture and history is noble to the point where an ethnostate is ok as long as they're not Europeans.
They managed to make them think they are counter-culture and rebellious while also having the support of all the media, corporation, educational institutions and most of the political players, national and international.
You have to admit that it is impressive.
Half impressive in the psy op and scale, half speaking to how many useful idiots currently occupy Europe.
With one caveat to your summation:
