Turns out the rest of the EU was slowing the takeover, and the brakes actually came off when England withdrew. I wonder if that’s why they were allowed to “do a bad democracy thing” in the first place.

They're only failing on our terms, not on theirs.
They get nice benefits and great jobs after they leave their jobs. So why would they change? Who cares if they destroy the country? They don't.
