It was always a pipe dream that a conviction would swing masses of people towards Trump, unfortunately. Most people don't give a damn about the rule of law, and even if they did, those who are anti-Trump care about hating Trump more.
Getting more black voters is also a pipe dream - I'll believe it when I see it. Last time Trump got +10% among Latinos without even trying, while focusing a lot of the campaign on blacks, who barely swung towards him at all.
I actually expected Trump to go down a bit first because the truth takes a while to catch up to propaganda.
People not paying attention heard "felon" and "34 counts", but every day that goes by they get exposed to more. It was only for paying a hooker to be quiet, the crime was conspiring to commit another crime that he wasn't even charged with, the judge supported "Stop Republicans", Hillary did the exact same thing only with malice, and so on for five paragraphs.
Trump courting blacks works with Latinos too, I think; if he's not going to act racist against blacks then he's okay with a group that's waay less offensive and uncivilized than blacks.
It went a point more towards Trump after, that's the black vote that isn't indoctrinated which is fairly accurate to the literal population size of blacks in America.
90% if not higher of people have ALREADY made up their minds on who they are voting for months ago, this hardly changed anything than push the remaining 10% more towards Trump or just not voting Biden so they wouldn't show up on a Trump vs Biden polling data.
