So is this like something you get pulled aside for and they are like “fellow Jew, would you like power? All you have to do is do what we say and you can live in luxury”. I seriously need to know because I doubt my Jewish buddy Rick has been approached to run the cabinet of Venezuela.
I mean OP's post literally has the new Mexican President standing next to the man who runs one of the most powerful equity firms in the world and has openly talked about using that wealth to support things like DEI an other similar causes. Just because Rick doesn't get invited to those kind of parties doesn't mean nobody does.
It's more like "you have some power, and we've now noticed you, you can either sign up with us and our agenda, or we will destroy you, your family, and excommunicate you from all important religious circles. we will ensure your funerary rights are denied when you die."
You have a jewish friend named "Rick?"
You're imagining a total conspiracy. Is that the only way you'd be concerned about this?
Aren't jewish people famous for picking white sounding names in order to fit in?
Only when they want to buy their way into hollywood or politics. So Rick is either a movie star, or the Venezuelans did actually contact him, and he just didn't tell his friend.
They have 6 gorillion Jewish identity organizations of various stripes like the ADL, AJC, RJC, etc. where they have opportunities to meet each other.
