Been hearing something wrong with him in the background for a while now, was there something that set it off as this seems close to a mental break that led to the drugs, booze and swinging than anything.
No one really knows, but there's endless speculation.
Two years ago in Spring 2022 while the Johnny Depp trial wrapped and Nick was on top of the world with dump trucks full of money, he came on stream one night and vagueposted about the "worst day of his life" that just happened and was all shook up.
Tons of speculation what it could be (infidelity with his wife, personal health diagnosis, getting kicked out of his church, being disowned by his rich family, being cut out of his family's inheritance of millions of oil money, cutting ties with his in-laws, sick kid, etc).
At the time, he made some generic statement about "All my life, I've lived according to what others wanted me to be. But I'm finally free and never have to live for anyone else ever again".
He later went to the Jamaican swingers resort Hedonism II that summer with his wife, started getting a lot more sexual in his chat and on his streams that fall. And telling any of his longtime fans to fuck off when they complained about his new direction.
Can't tell if socipathic/psycopathic mental breakdown or denial of Christ. But very, very telling, and I've heard words almost identical from several people right before they self-destructed.
