They’re hated for the same thing then as they are now. Their nature. It informs their behavior, which is justly repaid with hatred. The specifics change over time, the details of their transgressions shift, but their nature remains the same.
And what can change the nature of a people? It would take something deeper than simple belief. It would take faith, I think.
But their Jewish faith in their own Chosenite status, in their right to treat the other nations of the world as cattle, remains unshaken. Even in the face of rebuke from their own Messiah, they stay the course.
If the word of their own God won’t change their hearts, nothing will.
Christ is King.
Whether you believe it or not, it’s worth saying to reflect back at them their unchanging nature as the cause of the hatred they experience.
If you read the Bible, the jewish people are fated to stray over and over again. And to be punished. There can be no salvation from this cycle apart from Christ. I don't know what God has in store for the jews, but I can tell you if they converted and broke that cycle, they'd not be jews any more but Christians. For the followers of Christ, I think evil nature, the DNA or whatever, can be overcome. The spirit of God would not be great if it could not overcome our nature from time to time.
