I thought the whole point of the "women will chose the bear" thing is that women are fucking retarded and make terrible decisions. The fact that so many are leaning in with "yes i choose the bear" is baffling to me.
In a woman's solipsistic brain, encountering a bear is like encounter Bigfoot: so unlikely as to be imaginary.
Meanwhile, women do encounter men on a daily basis. Some of those men are dangerous, or worse, ugly. So it makes sense for someone incapable of abstract thought to go with the example that's within her immediate field of vision.
but what if she didn't meet a bear earlier this morning?
Hmm, needs workshopping.
This is brilliant.
I think they're saying that they would find it less offensive and would rather face the fate of being mauled and consumed by a bear than face a strange, unattractive and unknown man.
A pretty extreme misandrist position to take if you ask me. A man who flipped the sexes would be banned across the board for the same rhetoric.
If I'm in the woods, I'd prefer to encounter the bear, over facing a strange, unattractive, and unknown woman. Whether you kill, flee, or cross on amicable terms with the bear, you're in the clear later, but there is no action you can do to be safe with the latter. Just the knowledge that you were in the woods at the same time, even if you never get within sight range, you're at serious risk forever after if she winds up feeling the need for some pointless facebook likes.
hoe_math had a solid take on it: https://youtu.be/SSVXbgR4JFs?si=lgZdSWJfa2BZtw2y
I like to think of it as a masks-off moment - that the majority of women regard men as worse than most animals.
Cue Hoe_math's 'not people' schtick.
That would be the point in action.
