In other words, the adl went after it as soon as shabbos was over and only took an hour to remove it. Need to start adding community notes to their tweets on Saturday mornings.
No one who has that kind of wealth in the current climate is on your side. You have to suck so many dicks and kiss so many asses (not to mention grease the correct palms) to get to his position, that any 10 dollar hooker would be jealous.
Why do people watch stuff like that? I get AVGN type content creators where each video is a visual work that tells a story, and to a lesser extent I get RLM stuff where they are having a potentially unscripted discussion about a subject, but what is up with the videos where they just read the internet to you?
It's like there is a tier list that starts with the New-Age TV Replacement Materials tier, then Friend Simulators tier, and then.... "digital voice assistant who can't hear your commands" tier, which is competitive with, like, an accessibility option on ancient android phone meant to assist sight-impaired people.
That format can be fine if you spend a a decent amount of time driving and just want an overview of daily Internet bullshit without having to actually dedicate any time to it.
Skim article, read a couple reactions, make a comment or two, repeat. Basically news radio for millennials.
I used to watch a lot of these clickbait-engagement/grifter types (not Jeremy specifically but channels he often comes on as a guest to promote his coffee) but it's kind of like the younger version of boomers who listen to the TV just to have someone's voice keep them company. In other words closer to the "Friend Simulators" tier. For others it's addiction to the drama and his reactions to it. I can't speak for everyone but I'm pretty sure nobody clicks a Quartering video or even Tim Pool simply to get the latest headlines in audio form. They'll interject their opinions here and there so it's not straight news reading. It's light entertainment.
Thank you for the perspective. I guess I am just coming at it from an alien angle. What you say about boomers and background tv makes sense. But even the stuff boomers half-watch seems superior so long as they are steering away from talk shows and 24/7 MSM news channels.
I admit the topic or headline gets a click from me. Quartering does take some effort to at least meme up the topic as an intro which is usually hilarious. After the first minute of discussion you pretty much know everything you need to move on and do something else.
Its obvious the tweet reading or article reading (Tim pool is bad about this as well) just filler to get that ten minute mark or whatever.
I get the motive on the creator's end, but I meant, what about the viewer? Is it just momentum? I feel like there are a lot of nobodies making their living this way, or trying to, and it suggests there is a bigass audience up for grabs that wants to one-way-deadstare a streamer in the eyes while he reads tweets and blogs. Often enough the streamer reads slowly and stutteringly like a kid in high school reading to the class. Every aspect of it is awful to me and the only part that makes sense is the streamer's motive to get money for contributing diddly to society.
Possibly. Part of it is just lonely people that enjoy someone talking to them about shit they agree with. There are some better channels like memeology that are 1-2 minutes and have no unnecessary filler/talking. Just show the videos and provide a few sentences flashed on the screen about the context.
Perhaps part of the reason I don't grok it is that between my irl schedule and my talking directly with people like you on forums like this one, I get my full social fix.
No because Jeremy's post has a screenshot with the (now-deleted) community note on it. The ADL post is just the ADL post with no sign there was ever a community note.
I get it- COFFEE MAN BAD because whatever but your complaint is bullshit.
I'm actually glad I found the quartering. I didn't known about any of the alternative media sites until I saw some of his YouTube videos back in 2018-2019.
It's that which led me to bitchute and eventually to here over the years.
Haven't followed Jeremy since around 2020-2021 though, but good to see that he's still at it. If it pulls more people out of the matrix, I see that as a positive
Genuine question. I have no idea how twitter works. Someone here like does.
It looks to me like they changed the tweet so that only certain people can reply.
Would that kill off a community note? I only ask because it's going to be weaponized that way if so. You can just be wrong, get noted, and then go back to being wrong if you change who can comment after the note.
Alright, I was mistaken. It happens from time to time.
I had assumed that twitter might have worked with some sort of friend/block list.
And let's say someone not on the mutual friend list had put the community note up, the account that got noted could wipe it by making it reply list only even after the fact. And if they're not on that list, it'd wipe the note.
So it's definitely shenanigans then. That's kinda sad. The people that need it the most get to avoid it.
Those people on the streets calling for the death of Jews are far-right? That's weird because I never see them with American flags or MAGA hats but Palestine flags and keffiyehs.
The far right sympathize with them and are supporting/funding them from the shadows. College kids are robots that follow orders, who could be behind those protests? Those attempts to blame da joooz are so senseless its laughable.
Here's the link to the tweet: https://twitter.com/adl/status/1786404528683704575
I'll note to add their fake claim of free speech support that they restrict replies to only people they follow.
Your link has the original tweet go up at 3:36 PM · May 3, 2024.
The Quartering tweet was up at 5:36 PM · May 4, 2024.
According to a reply to The Quartering it got pulled by 1:13 AM · May 5, 2024
That's 6 hours and 44 minutes that we have it being potentially active between.
On a Saturday night.
In other words, the adl went after it as soon as shabbos was over and only took an hour to remove it. Need to start adding community notes to their tweets on Saturday mornings.
Exactly my thinking on the matter!
Jewlon Musk isn't our guy my guy, if the ADL tells him to kneel--he will kneel

Jeremy the dumbshit. Surely you could have just linked the ADL post instead of that quartering faggot.
You don't like his videos where the first minute is the news and the next nine are him reading tweets to you?

To be fair (exactly unlike the ADL), I'll point out that they used the word "recognizes" and not "supports".
I might "recognize" that my son disagrees with my unilateral decision to punish him.
I might "recognize" any manner of problem that I intend to "rectify".

No, the community note is not a reply but is added to the tweet. Also I think ADL always has their tweets set to that to start with.

Everybody gets one. Next time however...things will happen. BAD things. Very bad.
The hilariously ironic fact that they've limited replies to a tweet virtue signalling about their "free" speech stance still makes the same point.
What a glorious self own.

Maybe people shouldn't post lies then and abuse the community notes then.
I agree. You should stop posting.
Getting scared haha
scared of what? the mud and far right alliance that you people say doesnt exist is forming?
Those people on the streets calling for the death of Jews are far-right? That's weird because I never see them with American flags or MAGA hats but Palestine flags and keffiyehs.
The far right sympathize with them and are supporting/funding them from the shadows. College kids are robots that follow orders, who could be behind those protests? Those attempts to blame da joooz are so senseless its laughable.
The movement is completely funding by Soros and the far-left. The far-right doesn't have any money.
Who the fuck is blaming Jews (other than specific Jews like Soros) for the anti-semantic mobs?
Where's the lie, exactly?
