The most troubling thing is the conservative voter base is an example of why NOT to accept the blackpill. I know a majority of the candidates are shit but with that voter base they don't even do something grass roots like nominate one person to run on their behalf to deny the parties their seat.
Compare it to the US and even Europe, it seems like the UK can't be helped till even the system cannot run anymore and that isn't far off..
The UK Parliamentary system is far more difficult for anti-establishment candidates to break into. Proportional Representation in Europe was actually introduced to consolidate power in the hands of elites, but it's backfiring massively now that dissident politics is going mainstream.
In a FPTP system, upstart parties have a much tougher time getting into Parliament. The US has done a good job of counterracting this with the grassroots structure of candidate primaries, but in the UK the local parties in individual constituencies are filled with exactly the kind of petty, self-important managerial busybodies you would expect, so anti-establishment candidates are almost never selected to run for established parties.
"If you don't vote for us the left are going to get in!"
And this is exactly why Trump is so big, because he's the biggest proof that officially divided political partisanship is full of shit. Going forward, if there's not someone riding his coattails and sincerely keeping in line with the policies that made 2017-2019 so fucking great, there is no reason to vote Republican ever again.
All citizens of other "Western democracies" need to drill this into their heads.
Is letting the Dems win your goal? How does losing your gun rights, free speech, and overall freedom sound? Becuase if you dont vote GOP, thats what happens.
i don't want "republicans" to win, i want a party that cares about america and tells the rest of the world to subsist on our leftovers instead of bleeding us dry.
The blackpill is basically the pod, either living in it or dying in it Canadian style.
Accelerationism, don't know what 'pill' that is as it's more starting a wildfire to burn the old, diseased forest to allow new growth to take over. The dangerous part of that is unlike that fire, it's hard to direct it applying that to a civilisation.
Well, it should also be noted that Lethn talks a lot about moving to Argentina or some other South or Central American nation. In his case, it’s more like “I’ll enjoy watching this place collapse behind me.”
Pretty much, the UK I can see just falling into disrepair and everything falling apart because they can't get anyone to fix everything in time.
I was reading up on your HS2 as an example of this, there's so many subcontractors and virtue signalling that pretty much all UK infrastructure is MASSIVELY out of date, even with the shit show Germany is they don't have that problem because they keep their construction workers in work and in the loop.
How are people meant to protect themselves from the "accelerationism" when the people who should be getting their butts kicked by it are in a better position to weather it than a lot of us?
So is the goal here acceleration? Is there a better UK party than conservatives?
I'm not sure I want acceleration where I am, I'm more for delaying the inevitable or at least leaving it in the shithole parts of the country that actually want it. Although I've decided I won't be voting for a few DC spots in the general elections. I'll take acceleration any day over the "everything sucks why even try I'm just going to waste away and I die" doomers.

Having good politics is not legal in the UK. See Sam Melia. That makes it extremely difficult to organize.

Imagine telling people not to vote Republican...

I want whatever side you're on to lose.

Make up your mind here. Accelerationism is the black pill (and probably the only realistic option at this point).
I wouldn't say that.

Black pill = Suicide.
Acceleration = I'm taking all you motherfuckers out with me.
