My opinion: LLM should be outlawed to big companies and capped at a certain VRAM limit.
No risk of an AI apocalypse when every AI model is running on no more than 48GB VRAM

Edit: as others have pointed out, I neglected to factor in the geopolitical ramification in my opinion. This is serious business, I was wrong, don't do what I suggest, it's a bad idea. 🙄

Not saying they are confused, I'm saying they're taking it too seriously. Big corps wants to outlaw open source so I said I want to outlaw big models. and I get Ackchyuallyed. Fuck that.
