Oh crap, ENGAGE WHITE NOISE DEFENSES! The women are about to reeee so hard our heads might blow up like from scanners!
Yeah it wasn't rape, it was a combination of prostitution and manipulation by the entire industry. He's a scumbag that I would open fire on if he came near any of my friends and family but Hollywood has been openly sex trafficking younger manipulated actors for DECADES on the promise they'll 'get bigger roles', He's only a small part of it.
Say what you want about the man but when he was in charge we didn't have movies led by walleyed, fisheyed, indeterminate race hambeasts
He's the only producer that actually bothered to read the script to Good Will Hunting, asking Affleck and Damon why there was a random gay sex scene in the middle of the movie. Turns out the two had put that page in there to see which of the studios would put in the minimum of effort and read the thing and Weinstein was the only one to do so meaning Miramax got to make the film.
wait, you're telling me a jew took a random gay sex scene out of a movie?
The girl power push seemed to really start after he was in legal trouble
I guess the thing keeping ugly women out of Hollywood was the "would Harvey fuck them" filter?
Yeah, the casting couch system was no secret, though they tried to pass it off as a joke sometimes.
It's what savvy parents might warn their kids about when it came to wanting to go to Hollywood.
Problem is, some of the kids wanted into the action. The mother of one of my exes spent years in Whollyweird in her teens and twenties, and then tried pimping her daughter out when she was that age.
What I thought. Seems like a scumbag and sleazy but a lot of what I heard were women who were willing to sleep with a sleazy guy to be able to attain millions. Unless I misheard
Somehow, the women who cooperated and facilitated this culture never get any shade...odd.
And remember, they weren't starving or anything, they were competing against other women for desireable and lucrative movie roles and they whores themselves out for their own benefit.
Sometimes it was, sure, and in the case of Weinstein it was adult women looking for a break that he would facilitate after they climbed on "his ladder", but Hollywood is also known for rampant abuse and rape of child actors and actresses going back decades, to the point many parents who knew about those goings on would never, ever leave their kids alone when on set or working.
