The acquittal of OJ Simpson was literally just racial vengeance against whitey by black jurors who were pissed about the Rodney King verdict. One of the jurors said so.
Now jury nullification “because black” is a regular occurrence.
Someone on twitter posted a clip from Oprah when the verdict was read. All the blacks were cheering, most of the whites were sullen with a handful cheering with the blacks. And the "cut to commercial" at the end is telling too.
I was in elementary school when the trial was going on, and I vaguely remember my dad saying the trial/verdict probably set race relations back a number of years. I don't think I fully understood what he meant at the time, and now I think he was probably being optimistic.
No, we shouldn't. Even if you don't give a shit about the victim, do you think allowing murderers to walk free in our communities benefits us? We should refuse to persecute men who have not committed murder - who have killed people who needed killing, or merely been adjacent to a criminal's self-destruction - but that's the end of it.

Another case of, "well, he's not completely wrong, but not for the reasons that he thinks he is."

Marc Lamont Hill is a moron.
So if the system is evil and racist, how can it also be correct?
Not even surprised coming from that idiot

If they're taking out black people,im less concerned
I’d rather no criminals be running free but I’d at least rather have white criminals running free than black criminals
At least whites have some empathy
