Another important feature is that they are temporary and go home after the work is done. Of course that will be abused and is a way to get their foot in the door.
That’s how Germany ended up with 3 million "temporary" Turk "workers".

Japan isn't runned by (((subversives))) yet, and actually enforces their policies, social services are tied to citizenship, foreigners with expired/invalid visas will be deported
Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship. Hopefully they never change this.
