Removing the tranny joke in Persona 3 Reload was the least of the censorship problems to be honest

Plus they fired Karen Strassman, the original voice of Aigis, for liking Trump.
Whilst i dont doubt that they would fire people over that, i heard the entire english voice acting cast was replaced in reload not just her
Really? I'd heard it was just her. My mistake, then.
But the fact that Strassman is on our side still remains. She's having a hard time finding work now because of it.
How'd you hear about that one specifically and not them also replacing Vic? The gloating from the KickVic side about it was loud until he openly blessed the new guy doing his old role.
One, I'd honestly forgotten Vic was in the original game at all. I've never played a Persona game before. But I knew about Strassman being replaced for some reason.
Two, of course Vic would do that. He's too classy for his own good at times.
We should all be more like Vic Mignogna.
Looks pretty bad. Aside from the fact that I don't know what's going on top right - why are 4 pieces of dialogue being contrasted with just 1? were they all deleted? even worse if so - the rest are pretty obvious examples of politically correct self-censorship, faithfully exhibited.
I was about to cautiously say 'I'd keep my money in my wallet for this one' until I checked the steam store listing. $70 for a 2008 game in a P5 skin, denuvo-diseased, with $35 dlc which falls outside the $100 premium edition package, as well as being pozzed?? Honestly whoever actually shelled out cash for this deserves to have all their favourite chars tranniblackified and stuffed full of gay dicks. Show some goddamned restraint whoever you are...
i don't know what you mean by this
In the top right, they censored an entire quest. They skipped the entire original rank 3 quest so in Persona 3 Reload the rank 4 quest ended up being rank 3 instead.
That's what I mean. It shows 4 pieces of original dialogue and only 1 from the reload so I was wondering if it meant the whole thing was deleted. Sounds like it was, making it the most egregious example of the lot.
Is it safe for me to say the English words presented here in both new and old are from officially released translations of the games? I just want to know what I'm looking at, particularly that with the old version of P3 shown it's not a fan translation or AI translation.
Yeah i *think * these are official English translations of OG Persona 3 and Persona 3 reload ,but i think they are translated correctly except for the last screenshot where the Japanese version of the OG persona 3 said "Maybe like, consider the gap in physique between boys and girls" but the localized version changed that "im not as tall as you so i can't walk as fast".(which was corrected by fan translation in the small dialogue box as you can see at the top of the dialogue in the bottom right screenshot)
But even in the Japanese version of OG Personal 3 and persona 3 reload are different and reload is censored in the Japanese version , you can tell the dialogue is different just by looking at the different Japanese characters in the different versions . i do recognize the Japanese characters for "boy" (男の子) and "girl" (女の子) in the screenshot in the bottom left that is in the dialogue for the OG Persona 3 but its not in the Persona 3 reload dialogue.
So while the localization in the original wasn't fully accurate because of the last screenshot, the Japanese version of Persona 3 reload has also been massively censored
One change I found interesting is extremely minor: they changed いたっ to いったぁ (Itaa to Ittaa). Romanized that would be like changing "Ow" to "Oww". I always wonder why someone felt the need to make such an insignificant change when I see things like this.
