That really is what’s on display here. It also REALLY doesn’t help that he thinks playing the racism card is some supreme “gotcha.” Maybe there’s better context beyond this clip, but it’s really funny to see Elon talking about “lowering standards” and Lemon to respond with “yes, but we should have more black people in medicine, anyway.” Somebody has a quiet part they shouldn’t be saying out loud.
well, specifically an egalitarian utopia. other ideologs have other, very different ideas of what utopia is. but yes, an ideolog will do any number of horrific things in the real world in support of their make-believe fantasy. it's a dangerous, pathological mode of thought.
converting NPCs into ideologs is very profitable though. they will advocate against reality and even their own best interests for fantasies and emotions.
The amount of cognitive dissonance around hypotheticals is hilarious and it’s entirely due to the breakfast meme. People who actually administer WAIS tests are now trying to pretend that hypothetical questioning isn’t on every single standard intelligence test.
he's a trained news reporter. you can see it in the way that he conducts himself. he sticks his nose up and speaks condescendingly to the person he's interviewing when he is supposed to one up them. he doesn't care about the substance of what he's saying, only that the person he is talking to is supposed to be an idiot and therefore he must present himself as the smarter of the two people in the room.
I don't know about genetically. I remember reading somewhere that processing hypotheticals is more of an IQ thing. Which if you take into account the average IQ by race...you know what never mind, you're right.
Genetically incapable of processing hypotheticals

From the utopian mindset, the path to utopia (in this case anti-racism) trumps all other concerns.
If it only takes 100 planes exploding in midair to acheive utopia forever, it's obviously worth it.
