Yeah, because you presume the media is on your side.
Are you retarded?
That's the opposite of what he's saying. He's saying that communities getting the mainstream to report what they actually want never happens.
I would love to see a letter campaign to Japanese developers, along with the Japanese translation. It would probably help more than spamming social media, at least it's worth a shot.
Taking the time to write a letter shows effort which, if nothing else, will convey a passion for whatever it is you are writing about that is stronger than anything one can do in an online petition.
Sometimes it's not the message that is written but the effort it took to write it that matters.
Same thing for obtuse questions in job interviews and similar situations
im rather annoyed that what the media outlets says does influence them. They should know the media outlets is full of bullshit especially if they are augmenting the voices of those who would make a big fuss on the internet .There's a lot of people speaking out against Sweet Baby Inc, but the media refuses to cover it. But they will cover what they agree with whilst silencing the voices of those they don't, they only cover what they want to cover
Keep doing both.
The industry has hired people that don’t even know how to read physical media. So this is obviously a lie dating back to the 90’s.
Snail-mail requires much more physical effort and time to compose.
In my opinion, that makes the words contained within carry that much more weight.
Bonus points if hand-written, not typed and printed off a computer.
Mass letter writing campaigns being the most effective tactic pleases my inner Luddite immensely.
That man will complain about the letters being printed rather in in script next.
Out of sight, out of mind.
Humans are simple creatures with a bunch of BS culture to disguise it.
He could have just stopped there. Dude wasted an awful lot of words just to say he doesn't care what the customers think as long as those stupid suckers keep giving him money.
A reminder of who you are dealing with:

A consistent letter writing campaign might be needed to tell these japanese studios that the grift isn't working, and no one wants what they're selling if they buy into it.
Very cool post. I really liked this quote
