Properly understanding a problem in detail is key to fixing it, we know the leftists have been operating nepotistic scams within industries for some time now. However I think it could be argued that we didn't know the whole of it even those of us who were really informed but it can now be properly broken down how this scam of theirs operates.
The more I think about it, the more I realise the buyouts of peoples' favourite studios and IPs was all part of the scam and we have something of a full timeline of what's been going on in the background and I've never felt more clarity on the situation than what's been happening with sweet baby inc. Wokification of titles happens with the bringing in of ESG and DEI, lots of money involved, so studios start hiring big time in order to fake growth and they make sure that they look like they're pandering maximum to ESG, money still changing hands with various people in social media so they attack anyone that notices
. ESG money especially gets so big that not one studio and even lots of indie devs are suckering up to the policies, leftists see opportunities with how much artificial growth is happening thanks to the government sponsored money so they start creating their own demand as contracted narrative writers through the use of companies like sweet baby inc.
Then that's where we are at present day, hope I summed up the situation correctly, but seriously, it all makes sense now. It was cheaper in the long run to simply buyout the competition in early days with a big cash payment because the fucking corpos clearly knew how much money they could make if they simply took over the games industry.
Their propaganda was their way of trying to maintain hegemony and get the normies on board with this bullshit. However they underestimated how few normies would be interested in gaming and they also underestimated gamers who would notice their behaviour which is why they act like GamerGate is their 9/11 even though everyone knows they're full of shit.

There's one little piece I'm curious about and I want to know if money has been changing hands with some of these streamers and youtubers who are sitting their trying to play dumb on the whole situation or are they in fact just retarded.

Interesting perspective. I think a lot of what you've said is true. I was around for GG, and I remember all the similar arguments. They only ever have one. If they don't like you, you're not their audience, you don't matter, but every single thing you do they don't like. Nothing has changed.

I saw someone, Ian Hamilton (I think) on twitter mention that the 200k+ people on the sweet baby curator has is not a big number when you consider the number of people who want diversity in games.

He said that 200k people is .007% of gamers. Somehow he had these numbers from a survey. Lets take a closer look.
Using those numbers, 2 million would therefore be .07%, 20 million would be .7%, and 200 million would be 7%.
So 100% of "gamers" would be 3.2 billion people. Am I doing this right? Feels like way too fucking many people.
Is this guy really trying to claim that almost half the world's total population are computer gamers, use steam, and took a survey that said they want diversity in gaming? I find that a little hard to believe.

When you think about it, it's all a fucking cover for the scam they're running, that's why it makes no sense. It's obvious that by and large woke people aren't buying these games. Sure, they might praise it in articles and suspiciously spam reviews but when it comes to actual sales? Nah.
I think Cyberpunk 2077 and BG3 are exceptions because they targeted a lot of the normie market with KEANU REEVES spammed everywhere as well as their marketing tactics in general. They probably thought they could get away with their two-faced behaviour shitting on gamers while taking their money as well as the ESG on top of it. However the scam has been exposed and so has their attitude so that has lead to a massive drop in sales in real terms.

It depends on payment as some are 'paid with access' so feel like unique little snowflakes because they get to play a gr before everyone else. For YouTubers and streamers this can mean a boost in viewership as they're the first ones with content on it.
Problem is, that's extremely short lived viewership, put it this way, a YouTuber like Russian Badger can release a video about a game MONTHS after it's release and STILL dwarf these early access guys. It's more about the creator in this regard than the access for viewers.
Anyway I think last year broke them, with the amount of trash released, feels like the general audience went 'fuck it' and they no longer care about big studios while a smaller indie one gets more leeway.
You should see what gets sent in review copies for games. There's special editions and there's water pistols filled with vodka.
I'm confused about all of this. What the fuck is Sweet Baby and I never understood the gamer gate thing. I've tried reading about it online but there doesn't seem to be a clear genesis point. Everyone just gives some little tidbit.
The bullet point list I posted should give you enough of a rundown over what's been happening in the games industry since the early days of the initial studio buyouts which I think are all linked to what is going on currently.
However a TLDR of the whole thing could well be boiled down to: Leftists and executives with an ideological WEF agenda muscled their way into the games industry to form a nepotistic failing up society to get them jobs in the tech sector they otherwise would never have been able to be qualified for and sweet baby inc. is simply another side to that which has been uncovered recently. This lack of qualification and not even playing video games is why modern games have been so shit especially lately.
They also got big mad gamers noticed all of this early on and that's why there's a never ending propaganda and government campaign against them to have them labelled as extremists.
