If I wanted a diverse future in the Universe, I'd play Mass Effect (except andromeda), Star Wars/Trek because that has actual diversity in cultures due to Aliens than just attention seeking.
I'd rather have the hot alien blue chicks that make me question if they ARE hot alien blue chicks or some Cuthullu lifeform manipulating my mind to see them as hot than oh look different colour hair, so diverse...
You're just shit writers, so shit you outsourced to Sweet Baby and are now defensive because everyone knows that they can do a better job.
I've been thinking of playing Mass Effect again. Good shit.
If only they were able to stick the landing
True, if they went with that supposed Dark Matter story than the colour coding at the end it would've been a million times better.
You can tell they actually put effort into 1-3 writing since you get background conversations all the time like the one I mentioned
Even the Citidel dlc has it where if you walk around you hear characters talking about the multiplayer.
hip-firing sniper rifles with max impact mods sending enemies into the stratosphere was so fun. mass effect 2 was bad like all theme park games are bad: polished but stupid and boring. I pretend the rest do not even exist. The first held so much promise for a real RPG in space. Mako and planets could have been pumped up with more complexity for excellent RPG campaigns.
but what we got instead was weak cover shooter with the RPG stripped out and retarded progressive stories written by children.
oh well
It's "ROLE playing game" not "ROLL playing game". ME2 is more of an RPG than ME1. Now it's been years since I've played either, but I don't remember a single decision in 1 that wasn't just advance the story or advance the story but special. There is no Role to play. At least in 2 there are decisions to be made on who lives or who dies, who to recruit and who to get loyalty for.
Collecting +1's is not an RPG.
Yes! I’d love a diverse sci fi gaming meaning lots of ET
